BIOGRAPHY

William Andrés Fernández Noriega, stage name Zarek - DJ and producer, born on October 14, 1997 in Cali - Colombia.

Thanks to his Latin heritage and versatile taste in Tech House, House, Techno and Afro House, Zarek manages to transmit his energy to the public in a unique way, with very marked rhythms and a lot of Groove. His music is being played around the world, from private parties to big festivals such as Music On in Amsterdam and Space Miami, Partai in Venezuela and many more. Also supported by prominent artists including Manda Moor, Miguelle and Tons, DH Moon, Moreno & Prieto, Rel3r. He has also managed to share the stage with some renowned artists from the scene such as Francesco Poggi, Mahony, Michael Bibi, Joseph Capriatti, Steve Aguirre, Sebastian Ledher, Angy M, Cassimm, among others.

In July 2016, Zarek moved to London, UK, where he lived for 2 years. His first international performance was at Tramp Club London in 2016, where he held his first DJ residency. He then went on to secure an additional residency at Club Aquarium in Old Street as well as performing at multiple events such as "The Movie" and "Movimento". Internationally, Zarek has also performed at private events across Italy, Spain, Colombia and Poland.

In 2018, Zarek returned to Colombia, where he hit the ground running. Over the last 5 years he has gone from city to city (Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota, Popayán, Santander), playing in some of Colombia’s most renowned clubs and securing multiple residencies across his hometown, Cali.

Zarek is currently back in the UK, where as of April he will be performing and working alongside other artists across the country, this time focusing more on production with influential artists in the UK industry, with multiple releases in the pipeline for this year. Keep your eyes peeled!
